About

Kaila is a multi-disciplinary designer based in Toronto. Her work focuses on the development and execution of brands, stories, and experiences across a variety of mediums; identity, print, digital, and interactive design. She values research-driven design to conceptualize, synthesize, and inspire the work.

Most recently, Kaila worked at Bruce Mau Design on a wide range of projects, while developing deep expertise in cultural and education sectors. Her clients include Facing History and Ourselves, Harvard University, University of Toronto, Ryerson, Sinai Health System, and Sonos. Prior to Bruce Mau Design, she worked as a designer for Evergreen Brick Works, creating on-site visitor exhibitions. 

Kaila holds a Master of Design from York University—her thesis exploring the relationship between accessibility and design. Her work has been recognized, awarded, and showcased internationally by the AIGA Chicago, :output Amsterdam, Adobe Design Achievement Award, and The Advertising & Design Club of Canada.
